Libby Hill instructs the following:
- Beginners Tai Chi
- Tai Chi: Yang 24
This 45-minute class introduces participants to sun-style tai chi movements. Sun-style, the most modern tai chi style, is easier for beginners because of its gentle movement and more upright stances. A 21-movement form is taught effectively and safely using tai chi for health's practical approach. The class includes warm-up and cool-down exercises.
This class will learn and explore the movements of Yang 24, the most frequently practiced tai chi form in the world. Its focus will be on applying tai chi principles rather than on athleticism in order for participants of all abilities to appreciate the grace of this meditative practice. This 60 minute class includes warm-up and cool-down exercises as well as qigong movements.
