Shamanism through the Lakota Oracle Card Deck with Erin Hill

This series will introduce you to the Lakota Sioux spiritual teachings and shamanic principles as presented in the “Lakota Sweat Lodge Oracle Cards” by Chief Archie Lame Deer and Helene Sarkis.
The “Fall/Winter Series” (Oct-Feb) will discuss the Medicine Wheel and focus on the fall and winter cards of the deck. By learning to work with the cards as a daily tool of reflection, you will gain a better understanding of shamanic principles, wisdom, and inspiration. We will begin class by working with the cards, then integrate messages from the cards into movement meditation and exploration. We will finish with guided shamanic journeying and time for discussion. Traditional chanting and drumming will also be incorporated into these classes. Wear comfortable clothes and bring a journal and something to write with.
