**INTRODUCING: Alyson Phelan!**
“The meaning of life is to find your gift; the purpose of life is to give it away.”
My name is Alyson Phelan and I’m a 500-hour Certified Yoga Teacher (CYT 500) who specializes in Trauma-Informed Yoga. In addition, I am a certified Mindfulness and Meditation Teacher (CMMT) and am a Trauma Responsive Care Certified (TRCC) provider. I’ve immersed myself in the world of yoga, mindfulness, and meditation for almost 30 years. I am Cleveland born and bred. I earned a master’s degree in Clinical Psychology from Cleveland State University where I graduated summa cum laude and am a therapist in Behavioral Health in Mentor.
I have a passion for sharing Mindfulness, Yoga, and Meditation with others. I believe it is needed now more than ever before. Over the years, I’ve been an active volunteer in the community. I bring yoga, mindfulness, and meditation to individuals and organizations. I am committed to making these simple and powerful practices accessible to everyone.
I have a particular interest in adjunctive trauma-Informed services and grief support. Today, trauma and grief are more prevalent than ever. It leaves a sense of feeling broken, powerless, and disconnected. That’s where a community comes in. I work to assist others to find a felt sense of safety, connect with themselves and others, and find their own power. I focus on balancing the nervous system and integrating the body and mind for healing following trauma, grief, and loss through yoga, mindfulness, and meditation through scientifically validated and time-tested methods.
I’m on a mission to help others return to center. How we connect with each other and with ourselves matters. Let me support your personal and professional growth so we thrive right here, right now.”
